Places and Spaces Acquires ESRI ArcView GIS Non-Profit License
Places and Spaces Los Alamos (PSLA) has acquired a non-profit license to use the powerful ArcView GIS mapping and storytelling software platform. This tool is expected to be useful for not only the Pajarito Trails Initiative, but also for other PSLA initiatives as well. Volunteers have started work learning how to use the tool to create StoryMaps, a way to tell the story of a place using maps. The test case/learning project is to creat a Sky Island Circuit StoryMap.
PSLA seeks volunteers with ArcView GIS knowledge and skills to assist with projects either by building them or serving as an advisor.
