The core vision is to unite diverse outdoor communities—including hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners, birders, and equestrians—to promote stewardship, recreation, and appreciation for the Los Alamos area's natural beauty and recreational offerings. The festival is envisioned as a collaborative effort, inviting various trail user groups, trail organizations, trail system managers, and local businesses to host component events during the festival, providing education on responsible outdoor ethics, offering evening cultural events like films and presentations, and fostering strong community engagement with the goal of driving economic benefits to local Los Alamos businesses.
